He later had a brief spell at Brackley Town, before spending two seasons combining playing and coaching duties at King's Lynn Town. Internationally, Bridges also earned one cap for the England C team.

Having initially announced his retirement from playing in May 2016, Bridges returned to the game a year later as first-team coach at St Neots Town, where he also resumed playing during the 2017–18 season. He left the club in August 2018 to become head of coaching at League Two club Lincoln City. Following a period working with the Professional Footballers' Association, Bridges returned to Lincoln in August 2024 for a three-month spell as assistant head coach. Provided by Wikipedia
