Chữ Hán

[[Lĩnh Nam chích quái ( , ) are the Chinese characters that were used to write Literary Chinese (; ) and Sino-Vietnamese vocabulary in Vietnamese. They were officially used in Vietnam after the Red River Delta region was incorporated into the Han dynasty and continued to be used until the early 20th century (111 BC1919 AD) when use of Literary Chinese was abolished alongside the Confucian court examinations causing to be abandoned in favour of the Vietnamese alphabet.
