Darryl B. Hood
Dr. Darryl B. Hood is a tenured Professor at
Ohio State University and a highly regarded
African American neurotoxicologist. He is the author of ''Multigenerational Effects of Inhaled B(a)P on Development''. Hood led the most successful Minority S11 NIEHS-sponsored initiative, known as the Advanced Research Cooperation in Environmental Health (ARCH) Program. Additionally, Dr. Hood is currently a Dean's Fellow in
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion research at Ohio State University. He has also been cited in several articles regarding the recalibration of reference concentrations for inhaled
B(a)P exposures affecting reproduction and
neurotoxicity. As a co-architect, Darryl B. Hood has continued to work at Ohio State University on the “Public Health Exposome” outlining methods to improve future
pandemic protocol and prevent current disease spread. Over the years Darryl has used and continues to use his knowledge to better educate surrounding communities about various health crises.
