He also served as the President of European Gymnastics since 2017 (He was re-appointed to this position in 2022), member of the FIG Executive Committee. Farid Gayibov has been unanimously elected as a vice-chairman of the International Convention against Doping in Sport on the sidelines of the Conference of Parties (COP) to the International Convention against Doping in Sport held at UNESCO (2023-)
