Katrina Swett Yvonne Katrina Swett (née Lantos; born October 8, 1955) is an American educator. She was chair of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom from 2012 to 2013, and then in 2014 to 2015. She ran unsuccessfully as the Democratic candidate for Congress in New Hampshire's 2nd congressional district, which is the same district that her husband Richard Swett occupied, during the 2002 United States midterm elections.
