Nina H. Fefferman (born December 20, 1978) is an American mathematical modeler and theoretical biologist. Her research uses mathematical modeling to explore the behavior, evolution, and control of complex systems with application in areas from basic science ([https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00040-005-0833-x evolutionary sociobiology] and [https://journals.aps.org/pre/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevE.76.031919 epidemiology]) to direct real-world applications ([https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1755436517301317 bio-security], [https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/7497768?casa_token=Iv4U74yka3oAAAAA:dGWlwv190mdRbDiTgCfJXFWSIRMSPk4Gj-X-WQMgNf-LN7c-s19NA6oRSVZ6REHg_zLKMgJMsA cyber-security], [https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0378437124006423 bio-inspired design], and [https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S000632070900278X wildlife conservation]).
