Sarah Gillespie Sarah Gillespie is a British-American singer-songwriter, poet and producer known for her blend of poetic lyrics with folk, blues, and jazz influences. She has released five albums, which have received critical acclaim. Gillespie has collaborated with prominent jazz musicians including Chris Montague, Mercury prize nominated Kit Downes, Laura Jurd, James Maddren, and Ruth Goller. Her style is often compared to Bob Dylan and Tom Waits.

Her debut poetry collection, Queen Ithaca Blues, was published by Albion Beatnik Press.

Her fifth album, Wishbones, was launched at the Southbank Centre's Purcell Room in London.

In 2020, Gillespie launched the Create Now Academy, delivering bespoke mentorship programs songwriting and creativity for women around the world.

In 2025 she founded non profit organisation She Writes Songs with special launch events in Monterey California and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club UK.
