Summary

It is with immense satisfaction that we present the book to readers, as it is the result of an important agreement signed between the Municipal Secretary of Education (SME) of the municipality of Marília/SP and the São Paulo State University (UNESP), especially represented by the Graduate Programs in Education and Information Sciences (PPGE and PPGCI) of the Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences (FFC), Campus Marília. The agreement signed between the SME of the municipality of Marília and Unesp opened a long-awaited opportunity for education professionals from the municipal network of Marília to have an exclusive public notice dedicated to their scientific training at the master's and doctoral level. This opportunity was an open window from monthly meetings held by researchers from the Institute of Public Policies of Marília (IPPMar) with SME administration and professors from February to September 2017, which aimed to carry out an active interaction between IPPMar and municipal public management and, at that time, the Municipal Secretary of Education showed great interest and participation.
É com imensa satisfação que apresentamos o livro aos leitores, pois é fruto de um importante convênio firmado entre a Secretaria Municipal de Educação (SME) do município de Marília/SP e a Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), especialmente representada pelos Programas de Pós-graduação em Educação e em Ciências da Informação (PPGE e PPGCI) da Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências (FFC), Câmpus Marília. O convênio firmado entre a SME do município de Marília e a Unesp abriu uma oportunidade longamente ansiada pelos profissionais de educação da rede municipal de Marília de ter um edital exclusivo e dedicado à sua capacitação científica em nível de mestrado e doutorado. Essa oportunidade foi uma janela aberta a partir de reuniões mensais realizadas por pesquisadores do Instituto de Políticas Públicas de Marília (IPPMar) com a administração e professores da SME no período de fevereiro a setembro de 2017 que tinham como objetivo realizar uma interação ativa do IPPMar com a gestão pública municipal e, naquele momento, a Secretaria Municipal de Educação demonstrou grande interesse e participação.
