It was approached from a descriptive-explanatory methodology with a correlational design, with a non-probabilistic sample, selecting the intersections with high vehicular traffic in the city of the El Tambo district. The results indicate that there are sections with a higher vehicular density with a level of service "F" and sections that present a vehicular flow with a level of service "A", indicating a measure that increases the diameter inscribed in the roundabout, the delay decreases, the maneuvers usually turn left and make a U-turn, they are the most invasive movements and generate high delays. | ||
520 | |a Este libro es una adaptación de una investigación presentada a la Universidad Nacional Hemilio Valdizán, cuyo objetivo fue estudiar el comportamiento de las rotondas bajo condiciones de demanda y estimar el nivel de servicio que se experimenta en los diferentes accesos del Parque Ovalo Huancavelica, Junín (Perú) con la metodología del HCM 2010 (NCHRP). Se abordó desde una metodología descriptiva-explicativa con diseño correlacional, con una muestra no probabilística, seleccionando las intersecciones con alto tránsito vehicular en la ciudad del distrito de El Tambo. Los resultados indican que, existe tramos con mayor densidad vehicular alta con un nivel de servicio "F" y tramos que presentar un flujo vehicular con un nivel de servicio "A", asimismo a medida que aumenta el diámetro inscrito en la rotonda, la demora suele disminuir, las maniobras giro a la izquierda y giro en U, son los movimientos más invasivos y generan altas demoras. | ||
