This work takes as its structural basis the thematic framework of the theory of institutionalism and its subsequent application as a spearhead for the creation of competitive advantages; entrepreneurship as a scenario for the development of free enterprise and corporate governance as a vital guarantor of the survival of entrepreneurship. Este trabajo toma como base estructural la trama temática de la teoría del institucionalismo y su posterior aplicación como punta de lanza para la creación de ventajas competitivas; el emprendimiento como escenario de desarrollo del libre empresa y la gobernanza corporativa como garante vital de la supervivencia del emprendimiento. Bajo el anterior enfoque, los capítulos que componen la obra que usted tiene a la mano, constituyen una trama coherente entre teoría y práctica, sin la mayor pretensión que generar contexto y aplicación en la complejidad de los mercados de hoy, en ello, cabe destacar que el profesor Fábregas acierta con este tejido de conocimientos, con una hermenéutica clara que hace digerible todo el texto.
