The Corporación Universitaria Americana, as an educational institution responsible for its quality processes, has within its substantive functions that of research; in it, the evaluation of the research projects presented for execution is a priority and where it is important to verify their ethical conditions, based on national standards and policies, which should undoubtedly aim for the conditions and welfare of living beings and the commitment to the information obtained from their research; in addition, the verification of the conditions and qualities of the researchers involved in all types of research.

La Corporación Universitaria Americana, como institución de educación responsable de sus procesos de calidad; tiene dentro de sus funciones sustantivas la de la investigación; en ella, se hace prioritario la evaluación de los proyectos de investigación que se presentan para su ejecución y donde se hace importante la verificación de sus condiciones éticas, basados en los estándares y políticas nacionales, que deben propender sin duda alguna, por las condiciones y el bienestar de los seres vivos y el compromiso con la información obtenida desde sus investigaciones; además, de la verificación de las condiciones y cualidades de los investigadores involucrados en todo tipo de investigación.
