Description
Summary:Bolometric sensors show promising properties for the detection of THz radiation. To achieve an efficient coupling of the THz radiation into the detector, antenna structures with an ultra-high bandwidth have been developed in this work. By the use of the developed antennas the temporal resolution of ultra-short THz pulses on a picosecond time-scale has been enabled. Moreover, specific transient properties of THz signals, which have been measured for the first time, are demonstrated.
