Summary:This book is the result of a number of personal, academic and scientific confluences between scholars from different fields who, following on from previous fruitful synergies, have now been brought together to reflect jointly on a decisive factor in their respective fields of study: temporality. The so-called conceptual history harbours in its matrix a theory of historical times, in which the relationship of attraction and repulsion between history and memory is already proverbial. The collective endeavour in this volume, which focuses on inter/disciplinary temporalities, is based on an affinity of transversal interests and is encouraged by a sustained intention to build bridges between different areas of knowledge and to break their traditional self-referential inertia. The temporal dimension of justice, in its different declinations, has often been pretermitted or implicitly presupposed, without emerging as a theme in an explicit way, and yet it is susceptible to meditation from a plurality of perspectives: ethical, legal, sociological, political, historical, philosophical...
Este libro es el resultado de varias confluencias personales, académicas y científicas entre cultivadores de diversos campos, que, dando continuidad a fructíferas sinergias anteriores, han sido convocados ahora para reflexionar conjuntamente sobre un factor determinante en sus respectivos ámbitos de estudio, la temporalidad. La denominada historia conceptual alberga en su matriz una teoría de los tiempos históricos, en la que ya es proverbial la relación de atracción y repulsión que mantienen historia y memoria. El empeño colectivo vertido en este volumen, centrado en las temporalidades inter/disciplinares, se apoya en una afinidad de intereses transversales de fondo y viene alentado por un propósito sostenido de tender puentes entre distintas áreas de conocimiento y de romper su tradicional inercia autorreferencial. La dimensión temporal de la justicia, en sus diferentes declinaciones, a menudo ha sido preterida o presupuesta implícitamente, sin aflorar como temática de una forma explícita, y, sin embargo, es susceptible de una meditación desde una pluralidad de perspectivas: ética, jurídica, sociológica, política, histórica, filosófica...
