Prevención del abuso sexual y el maltrato infantil utilizando un modelo virtual

This research was designed to develop a virtual model aimed to the prevention of sexual abuse and child abuse. Where it is intended that children acquire skills for self-protection and self-care of their body and they know how to identify different risky situations and what to do if they are in one of these situations. Such virtual tool was implemented and compared with the tradi-tional way in which they have been working the transversal project of sex education focused on the prevention of child sexual abuse, and finding that by using a virtual model generated a greater impact on participating children, since they were able to identify most risky situations and in the same way, they set different options for self-protection. Likewise research showed those things that children are afraid to tell due to different factors fears.

Esta investigación fue diseñada con el fin de desarrollar un modelo virtual encaminado a la prevención del abuso sexual y el maltrato infantil. En don-de se busca que los niños y niñas adquieran habilidades de autoprotección y autocuidado de su cuerpo, así como saber identificar distintas situaciones de riesgo y qué hacer en caso de encontrarse en una de ellas. Dicha herramienta virtual fue implementada y comparada con la manera tradicional en la que se viene trabajando en una institución educativa el proyecto transversal de educación sexual enfocado en la prevención del abuso sexual infantil, encontrándose así que mediante el uso de un modelo virtual se generó un mayor impacto en los niños participantes, dado que lograron identificar en su mayoría las situaciones de riesgo y de la misma manera, establecieron diferentes opciones de auto protección. De la misma manera la investigación permitió conocer aquellas cosas que los niños y niñas no cuentan por miedo a distintos factores.
