From the intense political struggles around 1848 to the establishment of the Republic and beyond, the book describes the formation of a democratic opinion that is illuminated by trajectories of emblematic republicans and socialists such as Louis-Étienne Jousserandot and Jean-Paul Mazaroz. | ||
