Summary:The article briefly aims to expose the ideas of the educator, politician and lawyer from Puno José Antonio Encinas regarding the causes of indigenous criminality in Peru, as a product of university legal indigenism and briefly present our opinion on the matter, starting from the beginning of the 20th century in the midst of "leguismo" and ending in the future of Peruvian Criminology of the current century.
El artículo de manera breve tiene como objetivo exponer las ideas del educador, político y abogado puneño José Antonio Encinas entorno a las causas de la criminalidad indígena en el Perú, como producto del indigenismo jurídico universitario y de manera somera presentar nuestra opinión al respecto, partiendo desde los inicios del siglo XX en medio del "leguismo" y finalizando en el porvenir de la Criminología peruana del siglo actual.
