Summary:Isolated Pulmonary stenosis (PS) accounts for 10-12% of adult congenital heart diseases. The effect of PS on pregnancy depends on the severity of the stenosis. There are limited data available in the literature to guide the anesthetic management of pregnant patients with severe PS. We report the successful anesthetic management of a pregnant woman presenting with severe pulmonary re-stenosis 10 years after open pulmonary valvotomy, posted for caesarean section.
