Summary:Leptospirosis is a potentially fatal zoonotic disease known to cause multiorgan dysfunction including acute renal failure, severe rhabdomyolysis, hepatic dysfunction, pulmonary haemorrhages and myocarditis.Here we report a case of 10 year old female child came to us with multi organ failure from rural area during rainy reason.Because of its clinical polymorphism and the difficulties in making a bacteriologic and serologic diagnosis, leptospirosis is an affliction that often remains undetected.Leptospirosis is potentially lethal (5-10%) but if diagnosed and treated early,prognosis is good.
