Summary:This study aimed to determine the role of Civic Education teachers in managing cyberbullying on students at SMP Negeri 5 Purbalingga. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Observation, interviews, and documentation studies were used to collect data. The subjects in this study were Civic Education teachers, Principals, Students, Counselling Guidance teachers, and students of SMP Negeri 5 Purbalingga. The data analysis used by the researcher used the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that 1) Managing Civic Education learning to handle cyberbullying was done through lecturing method, 2) Obstacles faced in the process of tackling cyberbullying include the difficulties faced by teachers in controlling and supervising their students through social media, this required teachers to be more active in supervising the social media accounts of their students, 3) the efforts to overcome obstacles in overcoming cyberbullying in students were by providing guidance and direction by teachers to students.
