Summary:Dental caries located on adjacent approximal tooth surfaces represent one of the most widespread clinical situations dentists encounter in dental practice. This article presents a cross-sectional study, using a questionnaire that was distributed to a number of 110 practicing Romanian dentists, regarding the prevalence, etiology, diagnosis and therapeutic approach of this kind of dental lesions. The results highlights that dentists knowledge and practice are up to date with the most recent diagnosis methods and therapeutic approach.
