| Summary: | <p class="titulo1" align="center"> </p><p class="titulo1" align="center"><strong>RESUMEN </strong><span class="tabulado"><br /></span></p> <p class="tabulado">Este artículo presenta una investigación realizada para conocer el pensamiento de los entrenadores sobre el proceso de detección de talentos en baloncesto. Partiendo de la nueva orientación de dicho proceso, considerando a dicho proceso fundamentalmente formativo y, asumiendo, por tanto, la importancia del entrenador en dicho proceso; el objetivo de la presente investigación es conocer qué es lo que piensan los entrenadores encargados de realizar dicho proceso, en qué aspectos se fijan, qué factores consideran claves para realizar dicho proceso. Para ello, la investigación la hemos divido en dos apartados. En primer lugar administramos un cuestionario a distintos entrenadores implicados en dichos procesos, y en segundo lugar, hemos realizado una entrevista en forma de reunión de grupo. En general, observamos que el pensamiento de los entrenadores se corresponde con la nueva orientación del proceso de detección de talentos, "bottom-up", y que el concepto de talento que manejan se aproxima al concepto de experto encontrado en la literatura. <br />PALABRAS CLAVE: Detección, talentos, cuestionario, entrenadores, baloncesto.</p> <p class="titulo1" align="center"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p> <p class="tabulado" align="justify">This study analyses coaches'thinking about talent detection in basketball. The aim of this article is to know what the coaches think about the new direction in the process of discovering new talent, which aspects they observe and which aspects they consider important in this process. To reach this aim, we have divided the investigation in two parts. First of all, we did a general survey of coaches, and secondly, we conducted individual interviews. In general, we observed that the coaches'thinking is in line with the new approach of the talent detection process, "bottom-up", and their concept of talent is very similar to the experts' concepts that we can find in specialized literature. <br />KEY WORDS: Talent, detection, coaches, basketball.</p> |
