Drugs for nonspecific prophylaxis (immunostimulators and immunomodulatory agents) are frequently used for prevention of ARI. There are plenty of immunomodulating agents; the wellstudied medication with systemic action with good efficacy and safety in pediatric practice is ribosomal-proteoglycan complex.
