| Summary: | This video presents a case of a 5-year-old female patient who started with headache, difficulty to walk and vomiting, characterizing a clinical picture suggestive of intracranial hypertension due to hydrocephalus, resulting from an expansive process of posterior fossa. CT and MRI were performed, which proved the clinical diagnosis. The patient underwent a neurosurgical procedure, and an endoscopic third ventriculostomy was performed to treat the hydrocephalus and biopsy of the neoplasia. The patient evolved with clinical improvement and regression of hydrocephalus, and was diagnosed with low grade glioma. |
