This study derives from the research project Methodological strategy for the improvement of health services in secondary care, in the province of Camagüey, led by the Center for the Development of Social and Humanistic Sciences in Health and the Eduardo Agramonte Piña Provincial Pediatric Hospital, whose execution period lasts from May 2018 to December 2022. Its objective is to present the results of a documentary review on the definition of organizational climate and its importance for the operation of any entity and the way in which this affects the field of Cuban public health, taking into account the foundations of the relevant social sciences for conducting research on the subject, as well as the effects observed by labor groups after interventions to improve it.
