Summary:Urethral duplication is a rare congenital anomaly but more common in males, it can take many forms and presentations due to the anatomical positions and histological epithelium of the urethrae. In sagittal duplications, the normal positioned dorsal urethra is hypoplastic and stenotic and the ventral one is almost always the more normal one.We present a case of a 4 years old boy and highlights a rare form of a dominant dorsal urethra and an accessory ventral one (type II A 2 Y according to effmann classification) and discuss its treatment.
