Summary:Mycobacterium tuberculosis is a killer bacteria endangering the life of many innocent people worldwide. There is an emergency need for newer TB vaccines to combat this deadly disease. The BCG vaccine currently being delivered has been in use for more than a decade but still the threat has been increasing day-by-day worldwide and more particularly among the developing nations. It is necessary to develop a candidate vaccines which can keep a check on the  primary progression of the disease and also reactivation of Latent TB Infection.
