| Summary: | Research and development aims to produce product in the form of short story training materials with character value for junior high school teachers in Bahasa subject. Used Borg and Gall model as a model for develop training materials, by adaptation eight steps of this model. The results of validation and testing shows that the product decent to be implemented to improve teacher competence in writing short stories with character value. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa bahan pelatihan menulis cerita pendek bermuatan nilai karakter untuk guru SMP mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Model yang digunakan dalam pengembangan bahan pelatihan ini adalah model Borg dan Gall dengan mengadaptasi delapan langkah dalam pengembangannya. Hasil validasi dan uji produk menunjukkan bahwa produk layak untuk diimplementasikan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menulis cerita pendek bermuatan nilai karakter. |
