Description
Summary:Objective: Reflect on qualitative research in the field of nursing. Methods: This is a theoretical-reflexive essay that presents contextual formulations about the qualitative method and interview techniques. Results: The reflections were grouped into two conceptual pillars. The first pillar presents a theoretical discussion about the qualitative method. The second pillar is about interviewing techniques for data production that support qualitative research. Conclusion: Qualitative nursing research portrays a scientific communication concerned with elements of subjectivity that are found in the care scenes. Where as the interviewing techniques were proof of factors that imply the production of data in the field: clear communication with the interviewee, quiet data production environment, interviewee's time to respond to the data collection instrument, extension of the interview script and use of voice and imaging accessory instruments for data production.
