Description
Summary:With this work it is intended to supplement the general norms imposed by the Cuban sanitary authorities as for the cardiopulmonary resuscitation, where it is necessary to make stress, from the individual point of view, to achieve a correct performance in front of COVID-19. The cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a practice that generates particles in aerosol coming from the air ways, which increases the infection risk by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. For the present work, the international recommendations were consulted on the topic about compressions, ventilation, electric and even pharmacological therapy in patients with cardiac arrest and diagnosis of COVID-19, in order to achieve not only the patient's well-being, but also the security of the health staff.
