En el artículo se realiza un análisis de los contenidos y objetivos para la enseñanza- aprendizaje de la ortografía en la Educación Primaria, a partir de las normas establecidas por la Real Academia Española. Se ofrecen procedimientos que pueden ser utilizados por los maestros para la deducción de reglas ortográficas en la escritura de palabras con s, c, z, grafemas problémicos por la falta de correspondencia biunívoca que conlleva a las inadecuaciones fonético-grafemáticas. Se expone la importancia del dominio de las reglas ortográficas y la necesidad de desarrollar en los alumnos una conciencia ortográfica orientada a la prevención de los errores y a la corrección de estos. ABSTRACT In this article, an analysis of the content and objectives of the teaching-learning process of orthography in primary education is made in accordance to the rules established by the Royal Academy of Spanish Language. Here are offered some procedures which can be used by primary teachers for deducing the spelling rules with the words written with the s, c, z, grapheme due to the lack of unique correspondence which provokes the phoneme-grapheme inadequacy. It is exposed the importance of the mastery of the orthographic rules and the need to develop the learners´ spelling consciousness oriented to the prevention of misspelling and its correction.
