| Summary: | Innovation is a multi-faceted concept that includes products, services, job procedures, distribution and marketing. Innovation practices have an important role in improving the quality of nursing care, reducing care costs, increasing the scientific knowledge in nursing practice and evidence based nursing practices. There are many innovative practices in the nursing literature. Limited innovation practices in nursing suggest that innovative practices in nursing need to develop in Turkey. Raising nurses' awareness about innovation will increase innovative practices. The aim of this study is to give information about innovation and to encourage nurse innovation practices with examples of innovation applications in nursing. |
