A RELAÇÃO ENTRE LITERATURA E POLÍTICA EM OS QUE BEBEM COMO OS CÃES, DE ASSIS BRASIL

RESUMO: O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar a relação entre a política e a literatura em Os que bebem como os cães, de Assis Brasil. A situação subumana em que vive a personagem central não acontece somente na ficção, mas representa a história de muitas vítimas da Ditadura Militar. Nesse sentido, a literatura vai além dos relatos históricos carregados de ideologia e discursos, mas representa tais relatos e torna público o que era privado. A obra piauiense é também uma reflexão sobre a existência e a fragilidade humana quando o nosso direito é facilmente desrespeitado. Ainda que se trate de uma ficção, a triste trajetória de Jeremias pode ter acontecido com alguém, para tanto, analisamos a obra, sob a teoria de Lukács (2011), Candido (2011), Bosi (2013), Benjamin (1994) e outros. ABSTRACT: The objective of this article is to analyze the relationship between politics and literature in Os que bebem como os cães, written by Assis Brasil. The subhuman situation in which the main character lives does not happens only in the fiction, it is also a representation of the history of many victims of the Brazilian Military Dictatorship. In this sense, the literature goes beyond historical reports loaded with ideology and discourse, but it represents such reports and makes public what was private. The Piauían work is also a reflection on the human existence and fragility when our right is easily disrespected. Still, the sad trajectory of Jeremiah may have happened to someone, for that matter, we analyze the work under the theory of Lukács (2011), Candido (2011), Bosi (2013), Benjamin (1994) and others.
