La muestra estuvo constituida por un grupo de niños del segundo grado de la escuela especial "Luis augusto Turcios Lima", de la provincia de Las Tunas. Los resultados alcanzados evidencian la factibilidad y efectividad de las actividades y una tendencia satisfactoria hacia la formación del valor responsabilidad en niños con retraso mental leve. ABSTRACT In this investigation is offered a set of directed to the orientation of the family for bettering the value of responsibility in children with light mental delay. It propitiates the reflection and the debate through collective and individual experiences. It can be applied by the pedagogic community together with other socializer agents. The sample was constituted by a group of kids of the second grade of the special school "Luis August Turcios Lima" from Las Tunas province. The reached results evidence the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed activities and a satisfactory tendency toward the formation of the value responsibility in children with light mental delay.
