| Summary: | Êste trabalho focaliza o problema de estratificação social. Mostra as implicações das classes sociais na Saúde Pública, baseando-se no resultado de diversos estudos, que indicam haver relação entre o comportamento dos indivíduos e sua classificação social. São apresentados diversos indicadores utilizados para a identificação da posição de classe e é sugerida a unificação dos critérios. Evidencia a necessidade de consideração de classe social nos programas de saúde.<br>This work focuses the problem of social stratification. It shows the implications of social classes in the Public Health, based on the results of several studies which indicate that there is a relationship between the individual behavior and his social classification. Several indicators are presented for the identification of class position and it is suggested an unification of criteria. It evidences the necessity of social class consideration in health programs. |
