| Summary: | In this article discuss the cavalcade in the municipality of Itaporanga d'Ajuda/SE, with the objective of analyzing their territories by the socio-spatial practices that maintain and propel them. For this, in addition to the bibliographic review, adopted as methodology the documentary research in websites and newspapers and the field research with use of observation, interviewing, questionnaire application and photographic record. It is hoped to contribute to the understanding of the motivations and relationships engendered in the maintenance of cavalcade as a tradition and spectacle. |
