Summary:<p>There is a lack of information in Indonesia population about Cephalometric standard from dentomaxillofacial morphology. So it is needed to do research of all population in Indonesia, such as Manggarai population in Flores Island. A cephalometric study was undertaken to establish some cephalometric norms in a group of young adults Manggarai population. The sample consisted of 112 males and 9 females of 18 years old, with harmonious facial appearance and a good functional occlusion. The analysis was done according to Down's analysis. The results of this study showed that the dentomaxillofacial morphology was larger in the Manggarai population male than female. The facial convexity of Manggarai population was slightly larger than the Caucasion. The maxillary and mandibular incisors of Manggarai population were more protrusive and labially inclined than the Caucasian. The dentomaxillofacial morphology of the Manggarai population was generally different than the Caucasian especially for the Y-axis.</p>
