| Summary: | <em>Hypertrophy of palatine and lingual tonsils in pre-schoolchildren is the most frequent pathology and thus it is not a strictly specialized, but common pediatric problem. The significance of lymphoid organs for the growing organism and its age involution give us the need to rearrange the approaches to its surgical treatment and to develop the conservative methods of treatment.
