| Summary: | O presente artigo tem como objetivo discutir e analisar o uso dos conteúdos midiáticos e das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação - TIC no processo de ensino e aprendizagem em Instituições de Ensino Superior, refletindo sobre questões da formação docente. Para tanto, é realizada uma discussão bibliográfica que nos apresenta as dificuldades enfrentadas pelos docentes nessa nova realidade educacional, levantando questões referentes a sua formação e como devem atuar para que a aprendizagem seja realizada junto aos alunos midiáticos, com apoio das tecnologias e das mídias.<br><br>This article aims to discuss and analyze media content and use of Information and Communication Technology - ICT in teaching and learning in higher education institutions, reflecting on issues of teacher education.
