<DIV align=justify>El presente artículo describe el rol que cumple un bibliotecario que se desempeña como Coordinador de biblioteca de un instituto de educación superior, que efectúa funciones de promotor y difusor de la información además de ser un constructor del conocimiento en un contexto educativo, intenta que su unidad de información llegue a todos los componentes de la institución, estimulando el espíritu crítico y la selectividad ante el mundo de la información, facilitando y reduciendo la brecha entre los inforicos e infopobres creando una sociedad mas justa desde su trabajo. <p><DIV align=justify>The present article describes the roll that a librarian fulfills which he evolves like Coordinator of library of an institute of superior education, that carries out functions of promoter and diffuser of the information in addition to being a constructor of the knowledge in an educative context, tries that its unit of information arrives at all the components of the institution, stimulating the critical spirit and the selectivity before the world of the information, facilitating and reducing to the breach between the inforicos and infopobres creating a right society but from his work.
