Summary: | Megacystis Microcolon Intestinal Hypoperistalsis Syndrome (MMIHS) is a rare congenital anomaly that presents with severe form of functional obstruction of the gastrointestinal tract which is usually fatal. Here, we report a full term female infant with MMIHS presented with feeding intolerance, huge abdominal distension, bile-stained vomiting, absent bowel sounds and a large abdominal cystic mass. Exploration revealed hugely distended urinary bladder, micro colon, short bowel and malrotation of the small intestine. Ladd's procedure, ileostomy and vesicostomy were performed.
