Čoahkkáigeassu:Summary. Relatively healthy people platelets phospholipid membranes fatty acid spectrum characterized by lack of myristic, pentadekanic, margarinic and linolenic fatty acids. In patients with IHD combined with AF compared with IHD without AF patients observed significant reduction in the relative content of myristic and palmitic fatty acids and a significant increase in the relative content of oleic, linoleic and arachidonic fatty acid platelets phospholipid membranes. These dates may indicate that changes of platelet phospholipid fatty acid spectrum can be possible pathogenetic link in the development of AF. These dates will be important in the further investigation of AF development.
