| Summary: | The objective of this research is to demonstrate how motivation and performance in sports contain an important correlation for an athlete. This article is based on the case study carried out by 6 subjects that are part of to the speed skating team of the State of Campeche. The tests used were; the Questionnaire of Psychological Characteristics related to Sports Performance (CPRD) and the Normalization of the Motivation Scale in Sport (EMD). The results obtained show that motivation has a considerable influence on sports performance. |
