Description
Summary:This was a descriptive documentary research aimed at identifying the general profile of the technical-tactical contents in the Training Platform for Coaches of the World Association of Basketball Coaches. The Manuals for Level 1, 2 and 3 Trainers were analyzed, which present a respective relation with age training stages in basketball. It was identified a predominance of offensive contents under the defensive ones and collective contents under the individual ones. Level 1 is the one with the highest amount of content, and level 3 the lowest. The difference between the amount of individual and collective content tends to increase over coach levels, and the difference between defensive and offensive contents tends to decrease. It was also perceived a tendency to understand the contents with a character of a combination of technique and tactics.
