O PROCESSO ENSINO E APRENDIZAGEM DAS ARTES VISUAIS

Este artigo visa entender o quadro atual das Artes Visuais dentro da escola brasileira, com a contextualização das tendências que influenciaram o ensino e a aprendizagem da arte ao longo da história. No Brasil, temos duas tendências principais na educação: a conservadora, ou Pedagogia Liberal e a Pedagogia Progressista. A Pedagogia Liberal divide-se em tradicional, renovadora e tecnicista. Já a Pedagogia Progressista subdivide-se em libertadora, libertária e histórica crítica. Ana Mae Barbosa em seu livro "Ensino da Arte: Memória e História" aborda um pouco desse processo histórico. Nesse percurso, podemos perceber as transformações que as metodologias sofreram, as mudanças nas formas de avaliações ao longo do processo de ensino e aprendizagem e a importância da legislação para o cumprimento de uma educação inclusiva e de qualidade. Também percebemos a importância de avaliar a prática escolar, tanto do educador como do educando, pois é um meio pelo qual o professor adquire subsídios para perceber os diferentes momentos do processo ensino e aprendizagem e a forma como o aluno internaliza os conceitos de artes e os valores trabalhados. Essa avaliação possibilita ao professor a organização ou a reorganização das experiências a serem seguidas a fim de tornar signifi cativo o processo de ensino e aprendizagem das Artes Visuais. Abstract This article aims the understanding of the context of Visual Arts in Brazilian school nowadays, through the context of the trends that infl uence the teaching and learning of art throughout history. In Brazil, we have two main trends in education: a conservative or Liberal Education and Progressive Education. The Liberal Education is divided into traditional, renewing and technicalities. Meanwhile Progressive Pedagogy is subdivided into liberating, libertarian and historical criticism. Ana Mae Barbosa in her art education book: Memory and History discusses some of that historical process. Along the way, we can see the changes in the methodologies, changes in forms of evaluations during the teaching and learning process and the importance of legislation for the enforcement of an inclusive and quality education. We also realize the importance of evaluating school practice, both the educator and the student, it is a way the teacher acquires subsidies to realize the diff erent moments of teaching and learning process and how the student internalizes the arts concepts and the worked values. This evaluation will enable the teacher to organize or reorganize the experiences which should follow in order to make signifi cant the process of teaching and learning of Visual Arts.
