Description
Summary:Antecedents and objectives: Numerous works exist in the international context which have shown the infirmary models are used in a very low percentage for basing theoretically investigation works. Our objetives are: 1º to count and compare the references number about authors of models and infirmary theories in investigation articles and other; 2º to describe the use of models in different Spanish infirmary publications; 3º to identify the authors of models more indexed by Spanish investigators. Method: Population: total of bibliographical references in empiric and theoretical articles published in the magazines: Rol, Scientific Infirmary and Clinical Infirmary, during 1992-96. Instrument: adaptation of the questionnaire Nursing Practice Research Analysis Tool of Moody et al (1988). Results: The total of authors references about models has been of 107, being the biggest number in the theoretical articles (n = 68; 58,88%). Exists a unequal evolution in the estimate in the references number of theoretical of infirmary for each 100 articles, between theoretical and empiric of the different magazines. With difference, Clinical Infirmary presents a bigger increase in the number of references.
