This case report describes an adolescent male with significant lower extremity deep venous thrombi (DVTs) consistent with May-Thurner syndrome. His hospital course was complicated by pulmonary emboli, repeat procedures and stent placement, and recurrence of thrombi after discharge. This case report highlights the importance of recognizing May-Thurner syndrome as an uncommon cause of lower-extremity DVT, and close observation and prompt management of patients with DVTs. | ||
