Summary: | This article is an excerpt from a field research funded by FAPESPA/CAPES and aims to analyze the structure and functioning of schools on the island of Mosqueiro that relate the training and the teaching work in the schooling of the target audience of Special Education, linked to the municipal education system in Belém. A semi-structured interview was conducted with Special Education teachers who work in the multifunctional resource room, common classroom teachers and pedagogical coordinators.
