Description
Summary:This paper comes to investigate the impact of green human resources management (GHRM) toward the Quality of Working Life (QWL) in public universities in Indonesia as current literature contains only a number of studies that investigate the GHRM on different issues in developing countries. Furthermore, most of the GHRM practices are implemented by the private organizations and businesses and the study focuses on the GHRM practices in government institutions are lacking, especially in higher education settings (Aftab et al., 2022; Ha & Uyen, 2021; Pham et al., 2022). The samples were 84 academics scattered in Indonesian public universities. Data was collected by using questionnaires, where in analyzing data analysis, path analysis was employed by using the SPSS software. Results of this study indicate GHRM not only has positive and significant influence on employee's health and well-being and productivity, but also improving the QWL of employees in public universities. This study is limited by the research design in grasping a comprehensive result. However, this limitation is justified as the hypotheses of this study required answers to scope, rather than depth.
