In this case study, a hypothyroid young woman referred to our endocrine clinic for muscle cramp after the hypothyroidism management. Based on Laboratory and clinical findings, the woman was diagnosed to have been suffering from Gitelman syndrome and the treatment with magnesium, potassium and oral Spironolactone began immediately.
