Summary:The paper presents methods of physical therapist intervention in the education and evaluation of balance in people with Down syndrome. Due to global statistics, the level of ground current is reflected in the opportunity to find the means to efficiently improve the shortcomings, so people diagnosed to integrate into society. The scientific approach presents a case study conducted on a patient aged 8 years Special School for Children with Disabilities in Brasov. The research methodology consisted of applying gravity tests for dynamic and static balance, aiming existence of subjective and objective signs of the syndrome. The study concludes that the application of these funds relates to the patient's physical therapy have been positive, contributing to enhancing this shortcoming, the quality of life.
